How does the secret law of attraction explain unemployment, a boss I hate and difficult kids?

I've heard about the secret law of attraction but can't believe I've attracted all the bad things in my life.

The Secret Law of Attraction states that you attract to you all the things that match the vibration you're putting out. If you look around and see only negative things you dislike, it is a clue that you're transmitting a lot of negative vibrations. This might be because you're dwelling on and complaining about the things you don't like, and so you get more of them. The first step is to note, in detail, how you would ideally like things to be, and then focus, focus, focus on that. Beyond that you also need to consider that you may have subconscious beliefs and thoughts that are actually in alignment with your negative circumstances, as difficult as that may be to accept. There are many ways to identify and change these limiting beliefs. I found many useful tools at http://www.lawofattractiontoolsite.com. Good luck!

the law of attraction states that if you attract all the things that match your vibration then you will the surroundings will adjust according to that vibration.

well its on you, if you take life as easy like eating a peanut then you will absolutely have a job, by finding jobs that you are happy with.

basically having difficult kids is not their problem, it is your problem because it is on you on how you take them, whether you have a short patience or a really persevering one.

The Law of Attraction states that what you emit, you attract.

Many psychologists and life coaches also believe along those lines. If you are being your best you, you will attract positive people and circumstances into your life.

One way someone explained it to me is: Does anyone like sticking around someone with a bad attitude? No. Maybe the person w/ a bad attitude hates themselves and their hate is something other people pick up on, so they avoid the person. That just makes the person feel worse and have worse self-esteem, etc.

Someone who also explains this well is Louise L. Hay in "You can Heal your Life"

I can totally relate!

When I first heard about Law of Attraction I thought it was totally bunk. I mean - I certainly didn't create bankruptcy and all of those guys treating me poorly!

In fact, I wanted money and I wanted to be married to a wonderful guy. I was very clear on those points. So obviously the Law of Attraction wasn't real.

But after a while I had to admit... when I thought about money I didn't feel good. And when I thought about dating I felt even worse.

So if the Law of Attraction says you get what you feel...

....although I was asking for those things I was definitely feeling the opposite.

And getting the opposite, too.

So I had to change my feelings. And Law of Attraction gives tools you can use to change your thoughts so that your feelings change.

And of course I had to learn how to be honest with myself about how I was REALLY feeling. (That took some time, I'll admit.)

I can tell you from personal experience that I used the Law of Attraction to get a "difficult" child to WANT to go to bed at night instead of us fighting all the time.

And I used it to transform my relationship with my kids (and my mother) into things I adore. (And to get married in the first place.)

But it took work on my part - I had to own it all first, then go from there.

But yes, I hear you - you aren't creating all that stuff on purpose!

You attract to you what you think about the most.

If you spend your day thinking about how much you hate your boss, hate being unemployed, hate your kids being difficult...that is where you are putting your energy and in turn, what you are asking for more of.

I wouldn't consider the law of attraction as one of the laws of nature. It's misleading to believe that if you desire something so much, you will actually get it.
