What type of hours and days do a commerical law enforncemnt trooper work?

Im looking into this carrer field and I wanted to know about the hours and days a commerical law enfrocement works? As well as days I leave in the state of tennessee.

That is going to vary from department to department. It is probably going to be negotiated by the union.

The nice thing about it is you mostly work when the majority of trucks are on the road, so there is a lot of dayshift, and not many midnights.

When I worked for the WI State Patrol, we worked 8.5 hour days, 5 on 2 off, with rotating days off. We were required to work 1 weekend a month, and 2 shifts other than dayshift per month.

Once you narrow down a department you want to work for, you can do some research online, or stop in a weigh station when it's not busy. If you tell them you plan on applying to the department, they will probably not mind talking to you.

Depends. I work a 10 hour shift, while others work 8 hour and some work 12 hour.
