What Medical Related professions/jobs can I get in a degree with law and/or business?

I am planning to get a degree in Law or business (or maybe even double up on the two) and I have always been fascinated by medicine as well as law and I was wondering what approaches are there (Besides Forensics) when majoring in Law or Business?

In terms of the medical field, there are a variety of jobs. You could work for a medical management company doing mergers and acquisitions, contracting, be in-house legal counsel for health insurance companies or hospitals.

Instead of going for business, look into the HealthCare Administration degrees. This will give you a better understanding of operations, what managed care is all about, and so on.

I've worked in the healthcare industry for 16+ years now. Although it wasn't something I wanted to do, I have found it's a fascinating industry.

Best of luck to you!

Business could lead to a job in finance at a hospital (or human resources or something like that depending on your concentration).

Law could lead to a job in Risk Management or Quality Control at a hospital or medical centre. If you become a lawyer you could work for doctors or a hospital as legal counsel or on the other side as a representative for patients who sue hospitals or doctors.

The business side of healthcare is very lucrative. Hospitals hire people to manage the business side of heathcare. Healthcare Administration is one approach. There are schools that now offer combined MBA/JD, MBA/MD, or MBA/MHA (Master's of Healthcare Administration) degrees. I'd look into that if you've already secured your undergraduate degree. You could also look into Public/Global Health Policy and/or Administration.
