How about a law that requires to ALL their political money deals be made public?

They keep showing all the millions of dollars these candidates are raising, and we all know they are making deals with CEO's and special interests to get most of the money. Why not add a law that requires them to publish all the special deals they promise to collect money. That way could know what deals Hillary and Obama are making right now to collect those millions? That way we would know what deals we are really voting for?

I couldn't agree more regardless of country. I would love to know more about back-handers and the deals that are made behind closed doors, or over dinner, somewhere expensive.

Steve,

You KNOW as well as I do that such a law would require an honest politician to even purpose it to a comity, (Ant going to happen)... At least a DOZEN honest politicians to get it through comity, (Rolling on the floor)... And at least half the US congress to suddenly decide to do the right thing, (Roaring my as* off)

Lets face it. It MORE likely that Gorge W will stab his oil cronies in the back and make gas prices $2 gal Hahahaha I am SOOO funny.

La Penster

Do we need another law to make people honest? It would be impossible to enforce it.

Take the NAFTA thing and Obama's people talking to Canada before the debate. Do we really know what was said. We can listen to the person that leaked the memo (I would tend to believe) because of the fact that Obama did rip it apart. But what if we knew that he spoke to them, but no one leaked it. What was said?

It's the same state in most countries. There is always a demand that all political transactions of finance, and parliamentary/house (of Congress) proceedings, too, be made public. Enactment of law (to propitiate this requirement, often put across by media, and public) is an entirely different ball game with intricate ramifications

Great idea, so of course it will never happen.

You crossed the line there, pal. Henry Wax Job and his fellow whores in Parliament want their backroom back scratching deals kept quiet. Like when Wax Job gets $5 million for the Henry Wax Job Senatorial Library he signs off on another whore's $5 million for a Bird Turd Museum in East Moochers. It's all good in their eyes. Taking money from taxpayers by force and stealing it is OK, but when a company's shareholders voluntarily vote to approve a monstrous pay package for a failing CEO by golly we need a hearing. It's sickening.

It shall be done!

Maybe, someday... but a very astute question!

Every once in while somebody steps forward feigning integrity and proposes "open government" , "full disclosure" and other related crap.

Some sham bill is passed, but they always leave themselves loopholes.

Why do think we all hate these guys?
